Moving to the UK from Indiana in the 1960's as part of the US Air Force, Geno Washington quickly went from local pub musician to national blues and soul sensation. After singing with top R&B acts including Georgie Fame and Zoot Money's Big Roll Band at the legendary Flamingo Club in Soho, Geno teamed up with some of London's hottest musicians to form the now legendary Ram Jam Band.

They quickly became established as the most exciting live act in Britain, regularly topping the bill over world famous artistes as nobody wanted to go on stage after a Geno show! The group created two of the biggest selling albums of the 60s, Hand Clappin' Foot Stompin' Funky Butt Live and Hipsters, Flipsters and Finger Poppin' Daddies, both of which were live albums, and his status as the undisputed King of Soul was cemented forever by Dexy's Midnight Runners in the worldwide number one smash hit single and ultimate homage, Geno.

A lifelong love of blues and R&B has led to yet another chapter in Geno’s career with a brand new hard-hitting, fast-moving night of R&B, blues and soul classics that features the Ram Jam Band rhythm section in a barnstorming live show that never lets up in intensity or excitement, and delivers the goods every time!
